Political Posters

The 1960s and 1970s marked an era of great social upheaval in the United States and throughout much of the rest of the world. Pop art in America took shape in posters that reflected political messages and social themes, often employing satire with devastating effect.

Each of these posters dates to the era and are not reproductions. Some of the posters have suffered some mild damage over the years, mostly corner tears, pin-holes and scratches, but so it is when you want to hang in your home the very same poster that once hung in a Weather Underground safe house, a radical feminist meeting room or a stoner’s crash pad.

Each poster has been individually covered in shrink-wrap against a cardboard backing to provide protection until they are ready to be removed and hung.
